Sunshine garden

Sunshine GardenClimate change will affect how we garden and what we plant. The Greater London Authority has produced guidance, aimed at London’s gardeners, on how to cope with these changes (less water, higher temperatures), tips on what to plant and tricks to use in your gardens to support wildlife.

Gardening in tomorrow’s climate

Global warming will mean that London will be hotter and drier in the summer, while warmer and wetter in the winter. London will suffer increased risks of flooding, overheating and drought. This will affect our green spaces and how we manage them.

We must preserve our gardens – gardeners in London can play a vital role in enhancing our environment and reducing our carbon footprint.
