Responsible Procurement vision

Working within this framework, we refocused our approach and priorities under the new Mayor of London. In 2008, we agreed a new delivery plan for action. It sets out commitments in three themes: our people, our businesses and our city. Desired outcomes are described, underpinned by measurable targets and a timetable. Each of the GLA Group functional bodies now report quarterly to the Mayor’s office on their performance against the plan.

In practice, this means taking action to fulfil the aims of the GLA Group responsible procurement policy, originally adopted in June 2006 and re-branded in January 2008.
