Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, is a membership organisation for businesses committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of their supply chains. Companies join Sedex in order to use the Sedex web-based system, participate in Sedex governance, participate in working groups, network and engage with other Sedex members and utilise Sedex value-added services.
The Stern Review, the economics of climate change
This independent review was commissioned by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, as a contribution to assessing the evidence and building understanding of the economics of climate change. It concludes that ‘The scientific evidence is now overwhelming: climate change presents very serious global risks, and it demands an urgent global response’.

ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability
ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability) is a membership organisation of local governments and their associations. ICLEI is dedicated to building and supporting a worldwide movement of local governments to achieve tangible improvements in global sustainability with special focus on environmental conditions through cumulative local actions. Since more than 10 year the ICLEI Sustainable Procurement team works on supporting public authorities in implementing sustainable procurement.
Procura+ Sustainable Procurement Campaign
Procura+ is an initiative designed to help support public authorities in implementing Sustainable Procurement – and help promote their achievements. The Campaign was established in 2004 by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability to help drive the mainstreaming of sustainable public procurement. Through participating in the Campaign, public authorities can contribute to a growing international movement and help bring about real change on the market.
