TfL Skills and Employment Supply Chain

The main purpose of the event is to facilitate networking, brokerage and funding opportunities between TfL suppliers and relevant agencies and organisations with a remit in skills and employment such as Job Centre Plus (JCP), National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) and London Brokerage Limited delivering Train to Gain (TTG).
Key Objectives
- Increase suppliers’ and support agencies/organisations’ knowledge and awareness of the TfL/GLA Strategic Labour Needs and Training (SLNT) agenda;
- Promote the business benefits of supplier diversity and of good E&D practices in supply chain companies;
- Encourage a greater understanding of equality and diversity requirements within public and private sector procurement process;
- Engage with senior level managers and share good practice across sectors and businesses;
- Promote programmes such as Diversity Works for London and CompeteFor as a resource centre for obtaining help and advice on implementing diversity within the workplace and supply chain.
