If an organisation registers on CompeteFor and doesn’t pass the ‘business ready’ criteria they are directed via email to a range of free business support programmes.

Support to help businesses implement diversity practices within their workplace and supplier base across all six strands of diversity.

Two free Gold Standard Diversity tools available online – one for small and medium sized businesses with up to 250 employees and the other for larger enterprises.

Supplier Ethical Data Exchange

SEDEX

A secure database for companies to store and share ethical data including self-assessment, audit reports and corrective action reports and status.

Through three membership levels based on the types of business. Membership fees vary by membership category.

Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code

Green Procurement Code

Support service for London based organisations committed to reducing their environmental impact through responsible purchasing.

If a business becomes a signatory they received a number of free consultancy days to improve their responsible purchasing practices.

Freight Operators Recognition Scheme

Freight Operators Recognition Scheme

Is a unique, industry-led membership scheme that aims to transform freight delivery in London by encouraging freight companies to prioritise safety and reduce their impact on the environment.

Is free, voluntary and open to any company operating vans or lorries within the Capital. Support provided through self assessment and feedback and a formal company assessment.

The National Apprenticeship Services (NAS)

The National Apprenticeship Services (NAS) offers support and information to employers on all Nationally Recognised Apprenticeship Programs.

Apprenticeships are generally fully funded (Dependant on age and previous qualifications) however employers will need to employ the individual and pay all related salary and on costs.

Ability to advertise vacancies directly to large volumes of unemployed candidates. Account Managers will select and screen against agreed requirements and refer suitable candidates.
