Student Rise
Student Rise takes place throughout the month of November. There are a wide variety of events organised by students unions and societies all demonstrating the fantastic diversity of students in London and their opposition to racism.
Student Rise is an annual series of events coordinated by the Mayor of London in partnership with the Student Assembly Against Racism and the NUS Black Students Campaign.
Events during student rise include seminars debating the politics of hate, Kick Racism out of Football matches, Diwali and Rangoli celebrations, International film screenings, food fairs and exhibitions.
Participating student unions include: University of London Union, SOAS, University of the Arts, Institute of Education, Greenwich, Kingston, Roehampton, Birkbeck, London Metropolitan University, London School of Economics, Middlesex University, University of the Arts, Goldsmiths, Imperial College, Brunel, University of East London, University College London and Westminster.
