Tawiah
This 21-year-old South Londoner’s done backing vocals sessions for everyone, including Corinne Bailey Rae, the Guillemots, and, live onstage, Mark Ronson. She’s just won a Gilles Peterson Worldwide Award for Best Newcomer, her songs are already staples on the underground nu soul scene and beyond. "She looks like a nu-rave Rasta libertine….and walks like a woman who knows her time is now."
Green Jade
Judah, Wizdom, Wei, 3rd Son and DJ Secret Weapon are GreenJade, the UK’s only Tru-Skool Hip-Hop group, born and bred in South London. They have been ripping up underground hip-hop stages over the world for the past decade, their Tru-Skool beliefs representing a generation that chooses openness and honesty in the face of materialism and lies. As a positive, youth centred group, GreenJade created the Gunz Down Schools Tour alongside schools charity XLP.
Rising Tide presents
Rising Tide Trust is a professional music industry development and training charity based in the London borough of Hackney. They offer courses, showcasing opportunities and much more to people from across London. Their artists include Nu-Skool Soca artist Scrappy, rapper Dirty Diamond and diva in the making Kersha Bailey with Groove control.

CDR Presents
The epoch-making, taboo-breaking night of ideas is back at Rise for 08. DJ’s Nwachuku (NEPA Recordings) and Gavin Alexander (Call 'n' Response) spin DJ sets of new ’n’ unreleased mixes, mashups and edits from the CDR archive, plus various 'YouSendIt' attachments sent by producers worldwide. Members of the CDR community join them on the decks to play their works in progress and other inspirational tunes.

A totally vibing hour from the one-stop organisation for East London's new urban music talent, Urban Development. Hosted by Twin B, it features the dazzling Dancehall/Funk fusioneer Aynzli Jones, rap don Double S, actress/vocalist/songwriter Rosie Wilson, Menace 2 Society Jeeday Jawz, Cherry V and UD Vocal Collective.
BrazenBunch presents Zena Edwards and Friends
BrazenBunch works with artists to support causes that promote positivity and harmony in our local and global communities. This special collaborative features performances by spoken word artist Zena Edwards, singer/violinist Amanda Drummond, singer/cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson, singer/songwriter Abdul Shyllon, vocalist Baby Sol and The Lifeforce Band.
Radio Revolucion
