Performing on the main stage are: Brazilian electro rock band CSS; London dub music band the Dub Pistols, featuring Terry Hall and Rodney P; Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings with their revival funk/soul sound; reggae legend Jimmy Cliff; vintage teen rockers Kitty, Daisy & Lewis; hip-hop innovator and groove maker TY with full live band, new kids on the block Bashy and No.Lay; and The Aliens with their bottomless bag of psychedelically inclined rock and acid dipped electronics. You'll be hard pressed not to find something that rocks your boat! Also, Blyk Talent Search winner will also appear on the Rise stage!

CSS
CSS short for Cansei de Ser Sexy ("Tired of being sexy" in Brazilian Portuguese), are an electro/rock group from São Paulo, Brazil. The band of six friends (five girls, one boy) formed in September 2003, and took their name from a reported quote by Beyonce.
Jimmy Cliff
Born in 1948, Jimmy Cliff was Jamaica's first international superstar, and carved a path that Bob Marley would follow a decade later.

Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings are spearheading a revival of the funk/soul sound popular from the mid-1960s to mid-1970s. To help achieve this, the band use traditional analogue recording equipment, and instruments of that era.

One of UK Black music’s true innovators, TY’s been pushing boundaries for the last decade: check his three albums and Mercury Music nomination. Collaborators include Tony Allen, De La Soul, Damon Albarn, Estelle Terri Walker and Scratch Perverts. Onstage today, his Hip Hop Review featuring two of the UK’s wildest new talents, Bashy and No.Lay.
