Busking Underground

Auditions for singers and musicians aged between 16-25 to win a busking slot on the London Underground as part of the Rhythm of London are now closed.

All entries are currently being judged and successful buskers will be awarded a 20-minute slot on one or more prime performance pitches on Saturday 11 July.

Winners will be announced shortly so watch this space!!

The performances will take place across the London Underground at the following stations:

• Embankment

• Hammersmith

• Liverpool Street

• Marble Arch

• North Greenwich (O2 Arena) x 2

• Waterloo

• Westminster

Successful applicants will be emailed details of their busking slot/s.

All buskers will be filmed and part of their performance will be posted on the Rhythm of London website for the public and the Rhythm of London judging panel to view and vote on.

The top ten buskers will then have an opportunity to busk for prizes including:

• A year's licence to perform as part of London's Underground Busking Scheme



• A brand new Epiphone acoustic guitar - courtesy of Epiphone

• A guitar signed and donated by Sting
