Rhythm of London
The Rhythm of London took the city by storm on 10 and 11 July. Over 100 events happened in schools and venues across London highlight the fantastic music education work that takes place throughout the year in the capital.
Music of every style could be heard and young Londoners had the opportunity to join in with a vast range of activites from Masterclasses in songwriting, working in the music industry and performance to playing a street piano in a public square, drumming at the Barbican and Gamelan workshops at the South Bank Centre.
Photos of the events are available in the gallery.
Busking Underground
Busking Underground put young performers into prime slots across the tube network. Maybe you caught a performance on your travels.
The 11 finalists performed to an audience of invited industry professionals and guests in the VIP Bar at Indigo2, O2. At the end of the Young People's Question Time, Munira invited all the buskers on stage and Boris announced the winners and handed over the prizes.
