Draft London View Management Framework July 2011

A revised draft London View Management Framework SPG July 2011 based on the London Plan 2011 is available for consultation. The main changes include:

  • Amendment of policy references to London Plan Polices 7.10, 7.11 and 7.12
  • A new Management Plan for the new view from Parliament Square to the Palace of Westminster
  • For clarification, amendment of terminology from Lateral Area Assessment and Background Area Assessment to Wider Setting Consultation Area
  • Removal of the downstream view from Blackfriars Bridge
  • Revision of Appendix E to provide greater clarity to the application of earth curvature calculations

It is available in PDF and RTF (text only) files to download below. Because of the size of the PDF document, it is available in three parts.

In addition, high-resolution files for 27 Management Plans and Appendix D (protected vistas) are available.

Printed copies are available on application by email to LVMF@london.gov.uk.
