Hosted the London Assembly's International Women's Day reception at City Hall. The event was attended by over 200 women from across London.

Hosted the GLA's Holocaust Memorial Day Ceremony with the Mayor at City Hall. Holocaust survivor Anita Lasker Wallfisch gave a testimony and her grandson Abraham played the cello (pictured below with Anita's daugher, Maya Jacobs Wallfisch).

Chaired the Business Management and Administration Committee meeting at City Hall which included questions to Deputy mayor Richard Barnes AM about his responsibilities as Chair of the London Resilience Forum.

Attended the raising of the Armed Forces Day flag at City Hall with the Mayor and Matthew Lowe MBE, Deputy Commander, London District.

Chaired Mayor's Question Time at City Hall

8 June

Chaired a meeting fo the full Assembly questioning MPA Chair Kit Malthouse AM and Deputy Commissioner Tim Godwin about the implications of budget reductions on policing in the capital. Followed by questions to Deputy Mayor and Chief of Staff Sir Edward Lister about his prioriries for the year ahead.

Chaired an Assembly briefing about the London Data Store and its contribution to transparency in London government.

Attended the MenCap Tile Project launch 

1 June

Hosted the Parliamentary Outreach debate with The Greater London Authority’s Peer Outreach team and DareLondon. Over 200 young people attended the debate, which focused on whether the 2012 Games will benefit London.

Attended a speed monitoring event hosted by the Twenty Ten Club and St Matthew’s Academy. The evening provided a chance for aspiring girls under sixteen to talk to members of the black female entrepreneurs network.

Chaired the Business Management and Administration Committee meeting at City Hall including questioning Nicholas Griffin, Mayor's Advisor on Budget and Performance, about costs savings through sharing services across the GLA group

Chaired Mayor's Question Time at City Hall

Attended a time capsule ceremony with local school children from Holy Trinity and Colvestone School who had been gathering materials to place in the capsule.

Attended the opening of Myddelton House Gardens in Bulls Cross Enfield, after a major restoration.
