A range of events to suit every type of rider
Whether you are a biking beginner or an expert cyclist, there are regular events held in London to encourage you get out on your bike and meet other people joining London’s cycling revolution.
These range from free training in local London boroughs, to workshops and the annual Mayor of London’s Sky Ride each September. This year, the Mayor will also be hosting local Sky Ride events in Ealing and Redbridge. There are also a number of Sky Ride Local events happening across the capital from 13 June to 11 July. Transport for London also has a cycling events calendar which includes information on Team Green Britain Bike Week, a nationwide event each June.
Each June also sees TfL's London Cycle Challenge, a competition for teams from workplaces, social groups and schools to see which team can cycle the most miles in a month. There's great prizes on offer for the winners too!
