MOPAC Challenge

The MOPAC Challenge is the principal mechanism through which the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime holds the Met Commissioner and his top team to account. They will be joined by a board of representatives to help hold the Met Police commissioner to account and review issues across the criminal justice system.

Each month experts in the field will be invited to explore different themes from across the spectrum of crime prevention, policing, and the re-entry of offenders into society.

A fresh challenge, a clarion call for positive action, will be issued to those present each month at a meeting held in public and broadcast live from City Hall. All reports that go to the MOPAC Challenge and a transcript of proceedings will be made available.

All Challenge meetings are open to the public or can be viewed live at the following address:

Transcripts from previous meetings are available via the left-hand navigation.
