Find out how the London Plan protects some of London's key views, from parks and public spaces to key buildings and urban landscapes.
Protecting London's strategic views
There are some key views across the capital, from parks and other well-used public spaces, that take in important buildings or urban landscapes that help define London. The London Plan protects these and provides the basis for more detailed guidance on each view. This is called the London View Management Framework.
