The Olympic Board
The Mayor is co-chair of the Olympic Board with Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt. The Olympic Board has overall responsibility for every aspect of the 2012 Games project. Other members of the board include British Olympic Association Chairman Colin Moynihan and London 2012 Organising Committee Chair Sebastian Coe. Former Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell, Sir Menzies Campbell and Don Foster also sit on the Board as observers.

LOCOG
The Mayor is a founder member and shareholder of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), the private sector company responsible for staging and hosting the 2012 Games, led by Lord Coe.

Olympic Delivery Authority
The Mayor is one of the funders of the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), the public body responsible for developing and building the new venues and infrastructure for the Games. The Mayor is represented on the board by the GLA Director for 2012, Neale Coleman.
The Olympic Park Legacy Company
The Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) was founded by the Mayor in partnership with central government as the public sector, not-for-profit organisation responsible for the long-term planning, development, management and maintenance of the Olympic Park and its facilities after the London 2012 Games.
In February 2011 the Mayor put forward proposals to re-form the OPLC as a Mayoral Development Corporation centred on the Olympic Park, but also incorporating a large part of the surrounding area.
