Voluntary sector agencies are key partners in delivering the Mayor’s London Housing Strategy.
Working with the voluntary sector to deliver our housing strategy
Recognising the important role of the voluntary sector
The voluntary sector plays a wide-ranging and important role in terms of housing in London. The sector provides support and advice to a wide range of Londoners who may require help to stay independent, campaigns on issues related to housing, and helps to empower communities.
The Mayor is working closely with the sector, including through
- specific projects as part of the London Delivery Board, a strategic partnership established by the Mayor to end rough sleeping in London by 2012
- working with a voluntary sector sub-group of the London Delivery Board – the Homelessness Roundtable.
