The Mayor’s Know Your Rights Campaign encouraged older Londoners to find out if they were missing out on claiming Pension Credit to help with household bills.
The Mayor’s campaign was aimed at single pensioners on less than £145.40 a week, or on joint pensions of less than £222.05 a week who were possibly missing out on additional income to help pay household bills and keep their homes warm. It was estimated that around a third of Londoners eligible for Pension Credit don't claim it, missing out on up to £21 per week or £1,092 a year.
The campaign ended in April 2014, but for more information on help with household bills and finances see the links below.
