Students, win £20k of funding for your great idea

The 2014 Low Carbon Entrepreneur, in partnership with Siemens, is looking for innovative ideas to help us reduce London's CO2 emissions by 60 per cent before 2025.

If you’re a student or recent graduate in London, with a great idea to help slash CO2 emissions, we want to hear from you.

The Mayor’s Low Carbon Entrepreneur 2014 competition was open to London’s further and higher education students and recent graduates. There’s a £20k prize for the overall winner, and 20 of the best runners up will be shortlisted for a chance at one of up to six paid internships at award sponsors Siemens’ The Crystal.

The deadline to submit your ideas has now passed. If you have special circumstances and would still like to enter the competition, email lowcarbonentrepreneur@london.gov.uk and we'll see if that's possible.

Thanks to everyone who entered! We've had a record number of entries.

Everyone who enters is given a chance of training to present their ideas at special events with other students from across London. All finalists will be fast tracked to be a potential London Leader.
