Outer London Fund
Round Two Winners Announced
January 2012
Following the submission of over 80 bids on 14 November 2011, the Mayor has announced the award of nearly £32m of funding from his Outer London Fund to 18 boroughs across the capital.
The Outer London fund is part of a major package of investment which aims to boost local high streets, deliver growth, new jobs and improve lives. This package is made up of the Mayor’s £70m Regeneration Fund and £50m from the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, plus additional match funding from local boroughs.
Projects have been chosen against key criteria according to their potential to support the good work of the boroughs and their partners to nurture sustainable growth and improve the vitality of high streets across outer London.
This second round of funding will provide access to funds, specialist advice and ongoing support over two years to increase the attractiveness and economic competitiveness of many London high streets.
