Schools competition

New for this year's Children's Art Day is a visual arts competition - 'Look Out London' for London schools from April to August 2010. The competition, in partnership with The Big Draw, is backed by the Mayor,  who is a keen draughtsman and champion of drawing.

The Mayor invites London Schools (including those running Children's Art Day events) to submit examples of visual arts projects carried out by students to win art materials from Cass Art and Daler-Rowney. The Awards will be presented by Boris Johnson at a Big Draw event on the Southbank on 22 October 2010.

Deadline for entries:13 August 2010.
