Demolition and Refurbishment of London’s Social Housing Estates

Housing Committee - 10.00am in Committee Room 5

The Committee will examine the process and criteria used to make decisions regarding the refurbishment or demolition of social housing. How mayoral funding affects decision making processes will also be discussed. The following guests will be questioned:

The Assembly will question Professor the Lord Ara Darzi, Chair of the London Health Commission about the work to date of the London Health Commission

Stadia-led Regeneration

Regeneration Committee – 10.00am in Committee Room 5

The Committee will examine whether stadium developments have benefited the communities they are located within and what can be done to ensure there is a regeneration legacy from refurbished or new stadia – with a focus on the future of the Olympic Stadium. This will be the first of two meetings planned as part of the Committee’s investigation into stadia-led regeneration. The following guests will attend:
