‘We the undersigned, object to the abolition of the residents discount on the congestion charge that benefits residents in the Hyde Park Ward. We call upon the Mayor to recognize the impact this will have on the residents of Hyde Park Ward, in particular the elderly users of the medical facilities in W1 and ask him to respond with action.’

“As you are aware, the proposal to remove the Western Extension of the Congestion Charge is part of my Transport Strategy and I have instructed Transport for London to progress the necessary statutory consultations that need to take place before any changes to the scheme can be made. Any representations for amendments to the proposals will be considered as part of this process.”
