Establishing a Mayoral Development Corporation at Old Oak Common

The Planning Committee formally responded to the Mayor’s consultation giving overall support for the establishment of an MDC to meet the significant regeneration potential of the area but highlighting that there is a need to protect and enhance the interests of existing businesses and residents.

The Committee noted that any future plans for the must be done in close consultation with the boroughs, and should undergo extensive community consultation, to ensure that local residents and the local business community can be heard.
