Website to report environmental problems on transport lands

Question number2447/2009
Meeting date09/09/2009

Question by Caroline Pidgeon

In relation to problems that exist on pavements there is already an excellent website www.fixmystreet.co.uk which enables people to report easily problems like broken paving slabs and fly-tipping to local councils. Could TfL host a website or web pages so that Londoners can report any problems – such as graffiti, litter and vandalism - that exist on any transport or railway land or structure?

Answer by Boris Johnson

TfL’s website already provides a facility for members of the public to report faults with the Transport for London Road Network. TfL is developing an enhanced facility to allow users to report faults on the Borough road network, with the Borough then notified to resolve the fault. Allowing for successful user acceptance testing, this service will be available in the Autumn.

TfL will provide you with a link to this website once it is available.
