Cabinet meetings

[Main question]

Question number2083/2008
Meeting date15/10/2008

Question by Mike Tuffrey

Your answer to my question 1708/2008 about the cabinet and how it works - "my senior team and I meet regularly" - totally fails to address the detailed and explicit promises you gave Londoners in your document published before your election called “Making London’s Mayor Accountable.” namely:

“We will strengthen the decision-making process in City Hall by introducing a Cabinet for London. The Cabinet will meet on a regular basis, formal minutes will be taken, and the full agenda papers will be put on the Mayor’s website.”

Please will you now name the members of the cabinet, and commit to publishing the dates it meets, the agendas and the minutes of the meetings on the GLA website.

Answer by Boris Johnson

The details of all members of my team are on the public website, and we will be putting information about our regular meetings on the website in due course.
