That the Assembly notes the answers to the questions asked.

Further, this Assembly notes with sadness and disappointment the Mayor of London’s decision to proceed with the process of acquiring water cannon for use by the Metropolitan Police Service. This decision has been made against the wishes of the majority of London Assembly Members.

The Assembly also regrets the Mayor’s failure to read and consider the London Assembly’s Police and Crime Committee report before proceeding to a decision on water cannon.
