Health and Public Services Committee

Purpose of Committee

The Health and Public Services Committee can investigate any health and public services issues that are of concern to London as a whole. It has a unique role, working across agency boundaries, and encouraging participation from the voluntary sector, private sector and local people, ensuring that these diverse views are reflected in its work.

The Committee regularly receives updates from NHS London as part of its ongoing scrutiny of the capital's health services and conducts in-depth investigations into issues of importance for Londoners.

The Committee has recently looked into fuel poverty, childcare and the future of the London Ambulance Service.  Click on the links for further information.
