A Sub-Committee of the Budget and Performance Committee, the Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee considers reports on behalf of its parent Committee. This mainly involves scrutinising the quarterly monitoring reports provided by the GLA and its functional bodies (Transport for London; Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime; London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority and London Legacy Development Corporation) but can also involve review of other reports the Committee deems appropriate.
The Sub-Committee regularly questions senior officers from the GLA and its functional bodies.
