Met policing plan and police budget 2012/13

The London Assembly Police and Crime Committee will tomorrow examine the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) draft policing plan for 2012-15 and its budget for the year ahead.

The policing plan outlines MPS priorities, the performance framework against which it will be judged, and how its budget will be spent.

The Committee will question the following guests at the meeting:

  • Kit Malthouse AM, Deputy Mayor for Policing;
  • Craig Mackay, Deputy Commissioner, Metropolitan Police Service;
  • Anne McMeel, Director of Resources, Metropolitan Police Service;
  • Nick Rogers, Director of Financial Services, Metropolitan Police Service and;
  • Professor Martin Innes, Director of the Police Science Institute, University of Cardiff

The Police and Crime Committee meeting will take place on Thursday, 23 February from 10am in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).   Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
