News from Richard Barnbrook: Richard Barnbrook Embarks on Fact Finding "Care for the Elderly Initiative"

"Independent Assembly Member Richard Barnbrook will be spending the next few months visiting various care homes around London finding out the issues that concern staff and residents in the delivery of care for the elderly in London.

Richard is a member of the GLA’s Health and Public Services committee. This initiative will give an invaluable insight in care provision, especially as the emphasis seems to be moving towards personalised budgets and the possibility of devolved healthcare to local government, allowing Richard to hold the Mayor to account for his responsibilities on this issue and to raise this matter of importance to Londoners more widely."
