Mayor’s draft budget
Budget and Performance Committee – 11am in Committee Room 5
The Committee will question the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, about his draft budget for 2011/12[1].

2012 Transport plans
Transport Committee – 10am in the Chamber
The Committee will question the following guests as part of its investigation[2] into plans for transport during the 2012 Games:

  • Hugh Sumner, Director of Transport, Olympic Delivery Authority
  • Garrett Emmerson, Chief Operating Officer of London Streets, Transport for London (TfL)

Public toilets + Health Inequalities Strategy
Health and Public Services Committee – 2pm in Committee Room 5
The Committee will discuss the provision of public toilets[4] in London with the following experts:

  • Richard Barnes AM, Deputy Mayor of London
  • Chris Upfold, Revenue and Inclusion Manager, London Underground
  • Cllr Sue Vincent, Cabinet Member for the Environment, London Borough of Camden
  • Jonathan Simpson, Corporate Affairs Manager, Tesco
  • Hannah Holdroyd, London Policy Officer, Federation of Small Businesses

From approx 3.30pm
The Committee will then examine the Mayor's Health Inequalities Strategy and the implications for London of the Government's Public Health White Paper with the following guests:

  • Pamela Chesters, Mayor’s Advisor for Health and Youth Opportunities
  • Dr Simon Tanner, Regional Director of Public Health, NHS London
  • Susanna White, Strategic Director of Health and Community Services, Southwark Primary Care Trust and London Borough of Southwark

Street trees + Air Quality Strategy
Environment Committee – 10am in the Chamber
The Committee will assess what action has been taken to increase and protect London's street trees[3] and discuss what progress has been made since 2006 with the following experts:

  • Jim Smith, London Tree and Woodland Framework Manager – Forestry Commission
  • Andrew Jones, Programme Manager, Urban Spaces – Greater London Authority
  • Dave Lofthouse, Chair of the London Tree Officers Association

The Committee will discuss the Mayor’s Air Quality Strategy with the following guests:

  • Martin Powell, Interim Mayoral Environment Advisor
  • Peter Wright, Policy Manager (Planning), TfL
  • Yvonne Brown, Air Quality and Climate Change Manager, TfL
  • Professor Frank Kelly, Director of Environmental Research Group, King’s College London
  • Dr Sean Beevers, Senior Lecturer in Air Quality Modelling, King’s College London
  • Simon Birkett, Director, Campaign for Clean Air in London
