The second London Domestic Violence Strategy

The strategy builds on the progress of recent years in tackling domestic violence in London. It sets out the next stages of addressing the issue and details specific steps that will take us further.

This edition draws and builds on the work already developed since the publication of the first London Domestic Violence Strategy, as well as incorporating the many national, regional and local changes that have occurred since 2001.

Consultation

A draft of the second London Domestic Violence Strategy was published in July 2005, and the public consultation period closed on 10 October 2005. The strategy was subsequently reviewed to take account of issues raised. A report has been produced detailing the responses to the consultation, which came from a range of agencies and individuals:
