The Mayor of London is required to declare their personal interests in the Standing Register of Interests. The Mayor has 28 days from the commencement of their term of office or within 28 days of becoming aware of any new or change to any personal interests, to register these details by notifying the GLA's Monitoring Officer.

The Mayor has stated that the Register of Interests for Mayoral appointments will also be published in his promotion of openness and transparency.
