The Mayor's vision is for the GLA Group to be an equalities champion and leader, promoting equality and eradicating discrimination and ensuring that our workforce reflects the diverse population of London. An inspection of the GLA Group in March 2003 by the Audit Commission
gave the GLA two stars, the highest score of an Audit Commission report into equalities in
the public sector.
