London Older People's Resource Facility
The Greater London Authority opened the London Older People’s Resource Facility at Dexter House, Royal Mint Court in April 2004. In April 2006, the facility moved to new premises at Downstream Building, 1 London Bridge. Staffed by two full-time GLA officers, the Resource Facility was set up to increase consultation with older Londoners and to provide a practical resource for older people’s organisations working in the capital. It offers access to free computer services, desk space and officer support on a booking basis. It also acts as an information resource on GLA policy and how it affects older Londoners and on the variety of support services available.
