Other pages on renewable energy:

Supportive information

London Renewables has developed a number of resources designed specifically for particular audiences. The work of London Renewables has now been incorporated into the London Energy Partnership. More recent reports and publications are available on the London Energy Partnership pages.

Planners and developers

A Toolkit for planners, developers and consultants, 'Integrating renewable energy into new developments', is available to provide planners and developers with:

Training

A series of training sessions on energy efficiency and renewable energy was delivered between December 2004 and March 2005. These were accompanied by a pilot support service to London's planning authorities, elected members, housing associations and developers. The aim was to encourage the integration of sustainable energy into new developments and new planning policies. The report, 'Sustainable energy training and pilot support programme for local authorities', details the approach taken and makes recommendations for future activities.

'Attitudes to renewable energy in London: Public and stakeholder opinion and the scope for progress' (December 2003) provides valuable information on Londoners' attitudes to renewable energy as well as the opinions of groups key to the progress of renewable energy in London, such as planners and developers.
