London Schools Environment AwardLondon Schools Environment Awards

Following five years of the London Schools Environment Awards (LSEA), the Greater London Authority has decided not to continue with the scheme due to a significant lack of external sponsorship. The LSEA has been instrumental in encouraging London primary schools to partake in environmental education. When the LSEA was implemented in 2003, it was designed to act as a catalyst for environmental education.

Five years on, there are now a plethora of projects that schools can participate in. Whilst the Greater London Authority remains committed to working with schools on environmental issues, it does not want to duplicate any of these projects that are now in place.
