The Norwich Union LONDON Grand Prix is the biggest meeting in the UK athletics calendar, when outstanding athletes from Britain and the rest of the world get together to compete. It takes place at Crystal Palace and is supported by the Mayor.

The Mayor believes that this event at Crystal Palace is a great opportunity to showcase British athletics talent, and says:

"Winning the right to host the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games was a tribute to the capital’s strengths – diversity, creativity, culture, and youthfulness. The Grand Prix is a great example of the fantastic things we have to look forward to in five years time."

Visit the UK Athletics website, www.ukathletics.net, for further information about the Grand Prix. To book tickets, visit www.ukathletics.net/tickets or call 0870 402 8000.
