Mayor of London

A London view

The Mayor's vision for London is based on three interlocking themes:

  • strong and diverse economic growth
  • social inclusivity to allow all Londoners to share in London's future success
  • fundamental improvements in environmental management and use of resources.

Our 'Mayor of London' pages tell you how the Mayor is working to achieve this vision. They look at topics that matter to everyone who lives and works in London, not least transport, policing and the environment; and also strategic issues such as planning and economic development that must be addressed to ensure London develops as an exemplary sustainable world city.

In preparing his strategies and policies, the Mayor wishes to consult widely and get comments from members of the public as well as organisations and community representatives. These pages are designed to keep you informed on any formal consultation processes as well as telling you how you can make your views known.
