‘Health checks in the workplace – making them work for your business’

Bromley Primary Care Trust has demonstrated how much it values the health of its employees – earlier this year the trust offered health checks to all 1200 staff, providing estimates of cardiovascular risk (eg heart attack) over the next 10 years and offering advice about smoking, healthy eating and exercise where necessary. Find out how they did it, how staff reacted and how the NHS can help other local businesses to promote health in the workplace.
