Eligibility

These awards are open to community groups and to London-based small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

Community groups

Community groups include:

  • Informal community or grassroots organisations (ie no constitution and no paid staff), building on good neighbour-type activity
  • More formal third sector organisations (one or more paid staff). These may be charities, community or social enterprises, mutuals and co-operatives.

Groups must have been up and running for at least one year by 31 March 2010. We want to recognise the work of the smaller organisations that are often the least visible and struggle most for recognition so you must have a turnover of not more than £150,000 per year.

London-based SMEs

The awards are open to companies with less than 250 staff that have been up and running at least one year. We have set this limit because we want to recognise the work of smaller businesses that often have less resources and staff time to dedicate to health and well-being.

This includes the following types of business:

  • Private Limited Companies (Ltd)
  • Companies limited by guarantee
  • Public Limited Companies (Plc)
  • Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP)
  • Social Enterprises or Community Interest Companies

We know great things are happening across the capital. Here’s your chance to tell us about what you’re doing in your business and your community. Find out how to apply for the awards.
