London Cultural Strategy Group

Sub Groups

As part of developing the Mayor’s Cultural Strategy, we established a number of sub-groups to best investigate specific issues and to incorporate a wider range of views. Over the past year, these sub-groups have enabled us to respond more flexibly to new issues by bringing in additional expertise from the cultural sector. Although important in terms of generating recommendations and feeding into the Strategy, these sub-groups are much more informal and do not have the same statutory requirements.

Some of the issues we’ve explored are listed below under the LCSG’s key themes – Nurturing Young Talent, Access for All, Pursuit of Excellence, and Communicating Culture.
