The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) maintains a Web site with information about legislation including the Cilmate Change Bill 2008 and the Government’s Adaptation Policy Framework (APF)

The Treasury undertook a review of the economics of climate change, chaired by Sir Nicolas Stern, which has had a global impact.

The Department of Health has produced a revised National Heatwave Plan (2009).

The UK Resilience Website is run as a news and information service for emergency practitioners by the Civil Contingencies Secretariat at The Cabinet Office, and includes information about dealing with flooding.

The Nottingham Declaration is a commitment from local authorities to address climate change.

The Environment Agency has information recources about climate change, especially flooding and water resources.
