This campaign is delivered by the Mayor of London, working in partnership with British Gas. Cut priced insulation was a key deliverable of the Mayor’s London Climate Change Action Plan.

It is part funded by the LDA, the Mayor's agency responsible for driving London's sustainable economic growth.

British Gas has proven credentials in home insulation and currently works in association with 43 local authorities across the UK in similar British Gas rebate schemes benefiting around three million homes.

British Gas is now committed to insulating over 30,000 London homes, in partnership with the GLA, to save up to 40 per cent on heating bills across the capital. Average British Gas annual gas bill of £585.76 paying quarterly by cash or cheque at average annual gas consumption of 20,500 kWh based on prices as at 12 March 2007.
