GLA organisation structure
The Mayor is an executive mayor who has ultimate responsibility for the
leadership and policy direction of the core GLA. The Mayor gives direction
through the Chief of Staff and Policy Directors.
The GLAs head of paid service (chief executive) is responsible
for the implementation of the Mayors policies.
Staff are grouped into six directorates that report to the Chief Executive's Office.
