Data Management and Analysis
The GLA offers data management and analysis services provided by its
statisticians and researchers who have a range of professional and
technical skills in the fields of statistics, demography, geographic
information and data presentation. The Data Management and Analysis
Group (DMAG) deals with various types of socio-economic and demographic
data, its management and analysis, and has particular expertise in
the analysis of government-generated data sets such as the Census,
Labour Force Survey, population estimates, unemployment and welfare
benefits data. Its publications - DMAG Briefings and Updates - aim
to disseminate this work to as wide an audience as possible.
