City Hall - public exhibitionsThe GLA has a continuing programme of exhibitions on London-related topics at City Hall. They are open to the public free of charge.

Be part of City Halls exhibition programmeThere are 3 exhibition areas at City Hall availble on a free to use basis. All exhibition areas are in public accessable areas and open Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm. All exhibitions must have a strong London connection and/or reflect the work of the Mayor of London and/or the Greater London Authority. We welcome applications from local community organisations and groups. Your exhibition must be fully curated upon application. Unfortunatley there is no funding available for exhibitions. To apply for an Application to Exhibit form please email mayor@london.gov.uk with a brief outline of your proposed exhibition. Current exhibitionsCity Hall will host a number of special exhibitions throughout Story of London, from 1 June - 7 July. City Hall is open to the public Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 6pm, and Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm. London Through a Lens1 June - 7 July Presented by Getty Images, this exhibition drawn from the Hulton Archive highlights the quirkier facets of the city, alongside London icons and landmarks and everyday people doing everyday things. Port of London Authority1 June - 7 July This year the PLA celebrates its centenary as the organisation in charge of developing the river. It remains one of the UK’s largest ports, the country’s busiest inland waterway, a major route for commuters and tourists and a centre for sporting activity. The exhibition features archive shots from the last 100 years alongside images of the PLA’s work today. London At Dawn1 June - 7 July Photographer Anthony Epes shows a unique side of London during the sleepy early hours before the frenzy of the working day. The photographs provide an inspiring view into a side of the city that is rarely seen. Wonderful London1 June - 7 July From the BFI’s Archives comes this series of rarely seen travelogues, featuring street scenes from 1899 alongside early colour footage of the Thames in the 1920s, and film of familiar landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the Tower of London as you’ve never seen them before. Heritage Lottery Fund1 June - 7 July This exhibition showcases the work of HLF over the past 15 years. During that time, Lottery cash has given a staggering £850 million to over 2,700 projects across London. You can now see how the money’s been spent with fascinating highlights of heritage funded projects in London, from breathtaking parks to much loved museums, community work and more.
