London Against Gun and Knife Crime

Working in partnership to reduce and prevent violence associated with gangs in London

Gangs Guns and Weapons Seminar

Thank you for attending, or expressing an interest in, the first London Gangs Guns and Weapons Practitioners Forum Seminar held in Croydon on 31 May 2007.

The seminar was designed to engage gangs, guns and weapons practitioners from the statutory, community and voluntary sector, and those communities impacted by gang related crime.

As I am sure you are aware, interest in the seminar was extensive and almost 300 delegates were able to attend. Informative discussions were held throughout the day – during the plenary and workshop sessions and the Practitioners Forum look forward to progressing the priorities identified in partnership with you.

Feedback received from delegates has been positive and as promised all presentations have been made available for delegates and those practitioners unable to attend. Please click on the relevant links to download.

As a result of the seminar we have collated over 500 email addresses of practitioners from across London. The Practitioners Forum will take responsibility for ensuring this virtual network enables ongoing dialogue with London’s gangs, guns and weapons related practitioners and provides an opportunity to share information and drive forward the key priorities for London. If you would like to join this network, please forward your email address to pathumal.ali@london.gov.uk.
