Future proposals
Mayor
of London Boris Johnson has announced the artists for the next two commissions
to be placed on the Fourth Plinth:
Their artworks will be installed after
the current work, Model for a Hotel 2007 by Thomas Schütte, has
been taken down.
The two winning artists were selected from a shortlist of six, whose
names were announced in November 2007. The others are:
